redbenjoe, I'm starting to really like the red woofers on that 38

Boom Shaka Laka, man, wow, love the boxed QT 50 and the QT 5, the QT19 and QT 222 are unusual as well.

Vienna, whats wrong with it?

I still don't know what all the controls do. But it's easy to find out. I just move them and see what happens. Haven't broken anything yet! :-D

Very nice Boom Shaka Laka, I've seen these on that Japanese Auction site and wondered what they were like, as most pictures seem to be blurry or too far away.

Plus it's cheaper air freight than a GF-1000.

Is yours modified for 110 volts or is it multivoltage?

Straight 100v. Usually I just use batteries (6 C cells + 1 AA for the clock), but when I plug it in, I use a 117-100v. step-down transformer. I've got a couple Japan-domestic components in my stereo system and I'm using a "mouse" with each of them, too.

Yeah, it'll run any size boombox (at least, any size I have)...

But when I turn on our Japanese TV (analog only, so I don't turn it on much anymore), I get out the Big Guns...
