Great post to a great link.

But now I am wondering, GF-909 had black or white speakers?
Mine has white speakers and they are original Sharps!

Anyway, the 909 in the brochure looks like it has been just sprayed with a cheap can of black paint with speakers unmasked.

Hey guy's glad you like it.... You know for me I have really been getting into finding paper work for boomers... It actually as much fun as finding a box  well almost   ... AE the gf 909 definitely came with black woofers I belive when the fade they turn lighter .... Most likely sunlight fading .. Either way great box

Nice find! :w00t: So cool to see that stuff on paper. There was just a JVC one on ebay, I e-mailed to see If It was just In German, the guy didn't e-mail me back and I missed the end of the bidding ,quite disappointed with myself.

HA HA, that was great.....It is so interesting to see into the minds of the Japanese and they way the see Americans.

I like the way the liken the twin decks of the 909 to steam locomotives POWERFUL

and the way the liken the 535 with it's speaker grill bars to an American Football Helmet.

Also the young Japanese girls in their room dressed like they are out of the 1950's with 45 records on the wall in 1981

More importantly, it's cool to see all the models they were making at the same time. In my mind I often think that one model was offered and then replaced with another. But in reality, they had many radio's out at one time. So cool to see them all that way.

I guess I'll be kicking up my heels with my full back back and my 757 while I trek across America

I especially like the 909 recording the Tokyo Philharmonic! Not exactly what we did with them once we got our hands on them

Jiminy crickets!! Theres so much gold in those!! Absolutely stunning, Jimmy!

And the cameo from Iron Maiden's Steve Harris in the 535 catalogue was the icing on the cake!

Rock On.
