Sharp GF5757

hi new on the forum and looking forward to being involved .
Has anyone had experience of the GF5757 and it’s auto stop mech
Mine is stock on , the white bracket is clunking into the capston teeth permanently , so am guessing the auto stop is stuck …. Where is the auto stop actuator

I always start at the clutch and work my way back. Fundamental principle Take up reel should slip the clutch and engage autostop. The take up reel is just for slack not tape tension.
