Hello friends I just recently fixed my sharp gf 9494 the usually stuff belts caps etc. I also had replaced top circuit board where the power button is cause someone had worked on it cause board was cracked so I replaced it with another board very close too it from another sharp .anyway I put all together works fine the radio the tape, but I noticed the tape sound seemed to drop in quality not loud like it was if I switched over too the radio is blasting I tried different tapes but still sounds not as loud I heard it drop in sound it's been demagnetized and head was cleaned not sure what too make of it unless the tape plug connector is loose? Any thoughts Screenshot_20220927-143014_Reverb.jpg

While a tape is playing flip the function switch back and forth to see if there's any difference in the sound.

I also adjusted the head so sounds little clearer. The one stereo switch when in st wide sounds dull instead of wide. I think my main problem is that it works but when I replace the top board < mix mic board> with another one there were some subtle differences in one wire connection with orange wire .I also was trying my best to get the mix mic to work right with the plug and when you mix in with radio.so being differences in board mine didn't have all extra wires connections on the board as the other one did that the original had on back that looks like someone added resistors in certain spots that not 100% sure go there or if they are original but i dont think sharp would done such a hack job.even when I took what they on their board and added on mine didn't seem to change much.so I wish I had some real pictures of top and bottom of an actual gf 9696H to compare them with and get real idea what's on them too run it right.
