SHARP GF-777 Restoration Project

I have already started work on the restoration.
First, the dismantled hull. I washed the front and back cover.



There are many scratches and covers will be repainting.
I fixed the power switch, because it was broken.


With spray cleaned all the switches and potentiometers.

I continue to working on boombox.
These days I work on cassette decks.


Carefully dismantled parts and cleaned switches.
I try sometimes, but cassette decks don't want to work ...


Wnen press the PLAY, some parts are driven by mechanics.
See the red arrow.
Should driven mechanism (blue arrow A).
and head go up (blue arrow B).


Unfortunately this does not happen.
I guess there are mechanical and electrical problems.

I guess they will find new antenas.
I keep looking for new speakers.
I need a black grille, the battery cover and 2 cassette doors.
I expect the reasonable proposals of PM.

Past more than 3 months since I wrote in this topic.
During this time I looking for spare parts for boombox.
bredgeo helped me. I bought from him Sharp for parts.
Here is a picture of the item:

The 2 grils, cover the battery, screw casing, buttons, and 2 tape doors (not in the picture):

These days I expect to arrive the speakers.

I changed the belts and made prevention of cassette decks.
I begin to prepare the body for painting.
I painted both screens and now look very good:
