I find that selling here is a good experience for me,I always try to be 100% honest and show good photos.Like Gordie,I have always been a buyer until this last year.
Having duplicates and some triplicates make me sell to make some more room.I got carried away at times!(lol)
I only buy on e-bay,selling there-well I haven't had any luck.

I appreciate the friends and the wonderful parts I've purchased here.:)
I guess I don't understand the original thread here.

I am grateful for the few I have sold, really need more room, and this time of year, needing cash us another reason.
Thanks Boomboxery, and all the friends I've made here! :)

I think what Royce is trying to say is that some people are not true collectors and do not really have a passion for these boxes and what they really mean to some of us...they come here to buy and sell boxes ..not that there is any thing wrong that just they have different views than some ...refurbished or original makes no difference to me ... I just like keeping the past going ...boom boxes to me were and still are awesome ....

I really do admire collectors that can completely fix, overhaul and then sell their boxes...i really really wish i could do that but i can't & don't plus i don't give a shi@t about $$$$$$$$$...i prefer boxes

See I like restoring and selling/trading for better and bigger grails  there are units I have that I've had since I bought them because how cool they are or rare too. Or here's an example. I've bought 5 Maggy D8443's and restored them. I do like them but I would much rather sell/trade so I could get something like........ Well like a Conion C100 or a Sharp 777 ;-)

The good thing with the small countries - i know most of the greedy resellers from my country which are lurkin here and have post or two ( mostly around 30 to see the FS area) . They are pathetic anyway and at the end - how much they can make from few boomers - maybe one monthly salary. Big deal . Let them have their grey live  . I dont care mucho.
Yea maybe will be fun to ban all not active members with less than 50 posts

Hey Bobby, for such colorful thoughts and statements we should have thread here with a title "Spam, Spam and only Spam", or something like that :-D
That would probably be a lot of fun if we could keep it clean. :-D

Sure....that is the beauty of this site!
The other day at that video shoot I saw so many people that loved these radio's and would probably jump right in. But all I could think was, without the "Support Team" they would struggle. 30 year old radio's are a hit and miss with out being able to maintain them. I had no idea what it took to maintain the fleet of radio's I have now. And without this site, it would be impossible.

Although not entirely related, I do own a business. Perhaps I don't belong here?
All new boomboxery rules need to pass the superduper test:
If a new boomboxery rule excludes or invalidates anything related to superduper, his boomboxes, his neighbors, his distant neighbors , his family, friends , friends of friends, and any of their previously owned, currently owned, or future owned boomboxes, then the rule is invalid.

Now, now...no need to be testy!
