so I won this on our auction site few weeks ago. only just picked up on Sunday. lucky for me the seller wasnt keen to send to anywhere (2 people had asked to send, ha) I put the 2nd bid of $1.50 on and set a $90 autobid, just to test the waters on who was gonna try to beat me. made sure i was home when auction finished in the hope i wouldnt have to pay to much. 2 others had made bids but gave up at $38. mine for $39

its a little beat up. but was very surprised that everything is working. light, deck, needles. crazy! needs a really good clean and contact cleaner session. unfortunately need 2 antennas. and just a query but are they meant to retract back into the case?

iv tried searching for this model number and not much comes up. what is the difference with the 7700 or the 4360? is there others? DSC02559.JPGDSC02556.JPGDSC02554.JPGDSC02557.JPG

Good box these. Sound is pleasant and the build quality is outstanding notched volume and beautiful mics on top.
This one looks good and worth the effort cleaning restoring. Yes the aerials retract into the body. I had to buy a pair from Icemelon which were expensive but worth it to get the box 100%.

Wow. Ive never heard one of these or even seen one in person but for $39 bucks that is a great deal.
It has great looks and has a great reputation. It looks like its built like a tank and i bet its as heavy.

You're absolutely right. It's the heaviest classic one piece Box (two woofers) if I'm not wrong with weight of about 12kg. It's very well built. The most well built box I've ever known and believed. Everything about this box is exceptional great. A true masterpiece!!!

Very, very nice score! Good on ya mate. Can't beat Panasonic quality, especially from that era. 1970's if I'm not mistaken!? What's the date on the cassette motor?
