hey how about trying craiglist? and ask for cassettes.. Maybe someone will offer you some. I've done that once and got ONE reel to reel cassette and the rest were type II but used

I scored a few TDK MAs that were £7.95 each, so I got 4 of them. I thought it was fair value. They were 1991 vintage. I've recently picked up some MA-X's for £8.95, these were 1988/89 vintage.
As each year goes by, they will get harder to track down I guess. Type IVs do not hang around too long, neither do the top chromes.
