I'm not normally a fan of detachable speaker boxes but this one has always had that huge WOW factor - the black (dark grey) version is amazing too, a friend had the version with short wave too.

Amazing sound and looks. Even the RX-C300 does not sound as good. Here are my two Pannys competing... haha! Great boxes.

I was lucky enough to find another Rx-C100 (no speaker) to create my Rx-C100 by swapping all the best parts of both units.

Wow, great build quality in those C100s. It's a pity Panasonic didn't keep the build quality so high with their later 3 piece models.
