I just purchased a sanyo m7770k boombox. Based on conversations and looking online I have bought 3 diffrent sets of dc 9v barrel type tips and none of them fit snugly. I just need the connector tip. Does anyone know the exact size of 9v dc barrel connector to fit in a sanyo m7770k boombox? The size that goes around the pin. ( For example 5.5mm x 1.7mm).

From the pictures I can see that there is a lot of corrosion on the jacks. It needs to be cleaned carefully.
I guess the entire cassette player needs maintenance too.
I don't know what power supplies you found, but it is important to observe the polarity
and "+" is on this pin in the middle, and "-" is on the sides.
