CorafanRIP,

You are always coming up with some excellent boxes and this is another fine example. Looks to be fully loaded with all the good stuff too. ;-)

I only wish these had a proper line in,
Ah maybe you can help me
I was trying to record from line in
I have a Sanyo MRX-3 same as the Sanyo m-X620

I was just looking if all the functions work
They seem to but the one thing I cant work out is
there is no Line in option on the function
Radio & Tape only
To play an I phone i plugged in to line in on the back
It cuts out the radio and PLAYS fine with selector on radio
But if I push record the music from line in stops & it switches back to radio
and I end up only able to record the radio
Is this normal for this model some sort of copy write thing to stop copying music :angelic:

The MRX-3 must be different from the 620. The m-x620 you can't get any music from the line in at all, without modifying it. I gave my 620 away. I still have a Saba AKA but that one has to be recording for the line in to work, which is kind of the opposite of your problem. My deck is out of action so I did a pretty hack job and jammed the record switch on with a piece of cardboard, so line in will work all the time, now you have to take a battery out to turn it off.

I can't really answer your question, but I feel it's probably normal.

What where they thinking
the jap version has a switch on the side to change between battery and AC
Because the cord is wired in
which would help you out
Thanks for the reply :-)

If it has a Mic and Remote input, you can stick a plug into those 2 inputs and it will prevent the tape motor from running while you have Record pressed.

What's the difference? Lack of music search?... I have the European Saba aka........alas no line in! Nice sound though and really nice tape deck.
