Last month I tracked down a past radio I used to own, the Sanyo DSR2. Not a real big performer, but I wanted one for the collection.

The other day I went through some boxes and found the original manual that came with the DSR2 that I bought new back in the day.

So now they are reunited!

Thankfully the manual was in a box of magazines and was flat the whole time it was stored and it's in perfect condition with no bends or creases!

Thanks man. I actually found that manual a few years ago....then I knew I needed to find the box to go with it!
Now you can actually read that manual as your childhood box is far more technically advanced than anything in your current collection.

These boxes had a few different model numbers. I had one of these, mine was an M-W200L. I loved it, and for a box without bass and treble and controls, and tiny speakers, it had great sound. Not bassy, but bass isn't always everything. It had very clear and precise sound, and the FM Stereo setting sounded very pleasing indeed. :-) The M-W200L has a different style of tuner scale to yours Chris, and the M-W1. Mine had a blue scale with a very period grid design in it, lovely... It was my favourite feature of the box. I'd love another M-W200L.
