Just amazing!!

It's crazy how nice it looks after the treatment, compared to the VZ2000 you did, which ended up looking more like my Conion, with white marks. Panasonic must have used a better plastic, or maybe a higher pressure molding process to create a more solid piece of plastic.

I don't know how much were RX-5350 or RX-7000 brand new, but I don't understand why RX-7200 sold new for crazy $1700 (in today's prices) back in 1981 is also affected by this issue...
I guess nobody could even expect this to happen

As I read in some info sites about Retr0Bright, ABS plastic have an chemical component to prevent Fire Propagation and, this component in contact with UV rays, change the color os the ABS, thats turns more "darker" than the new ones.

All I can say, it's for members that think to try, is TRY IT!!

It costs almost nothing for the materials, and the results are real GREAT!

Thanks I read those sites too. You did a great job, I don't understand why they used the same cheap plastic on top of the line models.

It's not so much about the quality of the plastic itself, it's the antiflammability agents that were added due to regulatory requirements, regardless of model. I could be wrong about this, perhaps manufacturers could pay more back in the day for untreated batches?

Salon care 40 volume crème developer will do the same thing with zero mixing,just dab it or brush it on w/ sunlight or blacklite........ either method works great though.

Yea its cheap too,you can get it on www.sallybeauty.com ,I think its like $3.75 for a small bottle and about 7 for a big 32 oz bottle.It don't take much and it works fast,usually less that 24 hours with a uv light.
