Well ladies and gentleman, my new years resolution of "fixing" more and "buying" less has been broken. Im weak. I just received my CONION TECHNISONIC TC-555. Its 1 of 2 of my collection that actually has 2 fully functioning cassette decks. All it needs is a mild cleaning, and a few sprays of Deoxit on the volume sliders. Other than that its in pretty dam good shape. Here's a quick pic of it fresh out the package, more pics to follow after the clean up :-) Enjoy my friends

Yea bro I scored it from Epay, I dont seem to have that CRAIGLIST or Estate Sale Luck that some people have :'-( But ONE day, IT WILL HAPPEN. Until then I just go for what I can, when I can, from wherever I can :w00t:

I'm liking that. Loads!

You know how some cars look like they're doing 180mph when they're standing still:

(An Ariel Atom used by the Welsh traffic cops to catch speeders in the south of their country. Not that anyone goes to Wales to drive fast...)

Right, so that box looks loud when it's switched off. And probably uses less fuel than the Atom..

Love it! Long and low, like a box should be! Roll bars too!
Kinda false advertising on those woofers, though.

Size doesn't matter. It's what you do with them that counts! Please agree, because I've been telling my woman that for years...

Well party people my love for turntable box deepens with this 2015 New Years resolution rule breaker. Although its no "Holy Grail" to most or maybe anyone, I just go for what catches my eye and what will serve its purpose. My vinyl collection is growing along with my boombox collection, and ALL of my boomboxes get thier share of play time. This photo is from the ad. This Panasonic SG-J800 will soon be in my possession.

Great score SLO, my favorite part is the cassette deck doors "Simulated CD". That was a popular styling of the late 80's when the compact disc first arrived.

I'd like to hear this some time.
