:jawdrop: :jawdrop: Dang Rick that's a hell of a haul, there are numerous boxes to drool over there. That Pioneer alone would have had me doing pirouettes then throw in the rest and I probably would have been babbling incoherently.

Thanks guys!! The Pioneer is definitely the star of the lot, unfortunately I can't get it to work, not even the power LED to light up on AC or batteries, so that'll be getting professional attention. Cosmetically she'll clean up perfect. All the boxes are pretty filthy from being in the guys shed for god knows how many years, but a lot will clean up beautifully. One of my favourites from this like was the big upside down Akai. Even though it looks in awful condition and is missing it's front door the radio AND tape work on her still!! The marantz fires up and just needs some good cleaning and a rebelt.

As far as the excitement goes I had only Rich's excited phonecalls to go off. He will hopefully chime in on this thread when he's got some time. I'm sure it was quite the scene when he was bringing these out of his shed one at a time.

This was definitely one of the most rockin experiences I've had as a collector and that both me and Rich came out totally ecstatic over the deal is the best part.

I'll get some more pix as they get cleaned up and as I get through them over the weekend.

Rock On.

Amen, Bobby!

I probably would've found the listing on my own, but I probably wouldn't have bidded as hard. Getting the bits AZA needed for his Music Mixer was really what got me to bid. As I already have a 9998K and (before I saw/heard it) I wasn't that interested in the Marantz. So we've definitely got AZA to thank for this to happen! Thanks, rocker!!

Hey Rick.
If the Music Mixer is too nice to part out i can go without the few missing
parts on mine, thats no stress.
And even if that Pioneer wont work................. still WOW :w00t:

Haha, that's cool. You'll get the bits, no problem!
I think I have another box I can use parts from the make the Music Mixer work.

I'll try out the theory this weekend.

Rock On.
