I don't think people really understand how much talent this man had. He could play every instrument at the virtuoso level, wrote all his own music, produced it all, could act. All in a 5 foot tall frame!

The man was bridging the musical styles of Pop and Heavy Metal 25 years before it became the norm. Rap/Metal & Nu Metal (think Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot) are a direct result of Prince welding these styles together.
