well --cars , girls and boomers all share that common element --
they can really be NICE !!!! :-)

There's an understatement! All with unique, interesting features that are attractive to different people for different reasons.

TRC your Ferrari is very sweet!!!!
It is one of my favorite exotics right up there with the Lamborghini Countach.
I miss my two door sometimes and will probably have another if there ever comes a time where
I can take on another project.

Cool rides with some cool boxes!

TRC.... do you hang with some friends named Rick, T.C. and Higgins... and solve the occasional mystery, too??? :-P ;-)

All joking aside, that's a gorgeous Ferrari! How many miles do you put on it annually? and is the maintenance on those as horendou$ as rumored??? Beautiful car!

Since I have a son, I was actually thinking about getting a Mondial (cuz it's a convertible and has a back seat) but I don't know that much about Ferrari and am a bit put-off by reliability rumors and cost of maintenance. I'm leaning towards a 911 as my official mid-life crisis car... (was always a goal of mine to have a nice 911).

Anway, here's my most recent automotive money pit... and it's color matching boomer companion. Both were painted at the same time, by the same guy, with the same paint, and both hail from the mid 80's!:

I need to re-shoot this pic with them together... but in the meantime here they are in two separate pics. The box is actually on the roof of the car in the pic, but you can't really tell...

Thanks man, I do love the Lamborghini Countach as well. A total dream car. Maybe one day. But if you want to talk about expensive maintenance and parts, nothing touches that car! When your taking $1,500 for clutch parts and you still have to have it installed!

One day my wife and I were sitting in traffic at a construction site. They were replacing a bridge that goes over the freeway. I told her "If we would have bought that Trans Am, we could have just jumped the gap! That's what General Motors built them for". I'm sure all the married men here can visualize the expression on her face followed with "Don't be so stupid!"

Hell, I would have tried it!

Oh Yes! Magnum Jokes! They come free with a 308 purchase!     :-D

I'm not going to lie and say the maintenance on these are cheap especially if you have to take it to a Ferrari specialist at $160 per hour! I do "Most" of the work myself, but have never had to do any major work. When I bought the car it needed it's 30,000 mile tune up. I had that done by a Ferrari shop and it was $7,000. Yeah, I know! BUT, I had that amount of money deducted from the price when I bought it, because the seller knew it needed it. Other then that it's VERY reliable for an almost 30 year old car. You can get all your Mondial questions answered at http://www.ferrarichat.com They are very good cars. If you can, stick with a "QV" model or a "T"

As for mileage. I bought the car with 57,700 and am up to 69,000 in three years, but I won't even put 100 miles on it this year as I have it non-op'd because I'm going to Japan for 2 months, then possibly Australia. I'm hoping to take it to a local car show next weekend if I can get a one day DMV pass to "Smog" the car! :angelic:

Nice Benz BTW and nice boom box, You painted your boom box to match your car!!!! That's so F'n cool...

Heres a shot of a Chevy Camaro a friend of mine owns. This weekend we hung out infront of the garage jammin' out and drinking cold ones. Her car is clean and in great shape, but she is having problems with her aftermarket digital dash, we're gonna replace it soon. (Sorry for the crap pic.)
