Replacing or restoring Sharp GF-777 speakers?

I am not sure if it worth to paint them. I got about a dozen of those original speakers and most of them looking like brand new, however not a single one of them woks right. 44 years old paper cones warped a bit. Coils rubbing against the magnet is a very common thing. Yes, it is possible to fix it. I prefer the easy way though. Replace them with something similar looking. Quiet few available on Amazon or Ebay. I did checked a few and it's Alpine 1751 and Rockford Fosgate Prime and my favorite Pioneer A-series TS-A1601C.
