Replace blown boombox woofer with car woofer? And may as well match tweeters?

CALLING ALL CARS

Thoughts anyone? I can get my hands on a car pair of 4 ohm 80w nom 350w max 2 ways (with separate flush mount tweeters) freq range 33hz to58khz .... Or should I go for 4ohm 4way 60w nom 300w max and just disconnect the factory tweeters ? The 4ways dont have the lower bass response (freq range 60hz to21khz) .. Im not likely to find a genuine replacement (pic below) and dont want any problems with the restored amp (will keep the old originals tho). Left image is the possible 2 way replacement woofer...Thoughts anyone ?

You'll never know until you try it. However, in general, high wattage large magnet car speakers aren't going to perform well in low powered battery operated applications such as boomboxes. They only produce from 2 to 10 wpc, not the hundreds that you can get from car audio powered by 100 pound batteries backed up by 100 amp alternators..
