not many for me this year just 4 but some big hitters

when i think of boomboxes for me in the year which has just gone
i think of the boxes i got for free

a big viking
a nice m50
and a mintomatic kaboom

i also think of the pristine finds of the year
the just out the box looking fh7 as well as the superb sanyo c7

i also think of the really fantastic stereos collected and this year and the wonderful radios.
it was a nice year of thrifting for me.

Bill I tend to agree with you that the stuff I found local for just a few dollars stands out. I'm sure I've forgotten a few items, the list is longer than I was thinking it would be. So much for thinning the herd, looks like I back filled all the space I made clearing out boxes last summer.

Hi everyone-I'm actually greatful for what I have! I have about 75-80 boomers & only about 8 need cassette work.
The rest are all good except for maybe an antenna or original replacement.
This year I'm fixing up most of my cassette needing help decks. & putting in new belts & or getting the 2 I can't fix-fixed!

If you can believe this I have only bought 1 boombox this year & what a tizzy it is!
It's one of those ultra-mini boomboxes from China.It's new though with box but it's just for fun and .99 to!

I need an exceptional M-90 this year and a 9696 & or a WX-1.
Hopefully finding a grail in the wild or something at Goodwill.
Goodwill has been crap for boomboxes lately.
Just cassettes which are good-got a Al Jarraeu tape & Ace Frehley & The Ink Spots and Peter Gabriel for 2.00!

I'm starting to get ready for my first purchase of the year-just don't know what it will be??
A 8787 another 8989 a 9696 I wish! maybe a Sanyo-yes I bet another Sanyo or a Toshiba! That sounds good!
