Thanks again for all the support guys. I raised $405 and our team past their $1500 goal thanks to YOU.

People ask me why I'm walking with these big ass radio's. When i tell them about the support i have gotten they are blown away.

Next year i think i will stick with the mid size blaster class. Those super jumbos are just insane.

Joe, thanks again for the straps man, couldn't do it without them

Cheers to your walking and blasting. I can only imagine how tough it would be with straps, or even worse with no strap! Eeeek

As much as I love the J1, it's a BITCH to walk with. The handle, simply is the worst handle of any radio. It has sharp angles that cut into your hand and after just a few minutes of carrying, you have to set it down. Even with the strap it's a bitch. Because it is so wide, it hangs hard on the hip. I have a bruise on both hips from carrying it.

Not sure if you noticed, I was using a strap on the discolite handles. MAN was that stressful. I was just waiting for one end to bust off and have the radio crash into the ground at some funky angle with the weight of the batteries crushing the case :annoyed:

BUT thankfully, nothing like that happened. I don;t know how these Discolite handles have lasted so long.

Well done man, your legend :chris920:
Thanks man, I don't know how "Legend" I might be. To be honest, walking while cranking a Blaster isn't that hard, I just followed groups of cute girls in yoga pants and the hours fly by  TRUE STORY! :w00t:

Thanks Steve, we were told at the event to hashtag everything to instagram and facebook with #relayojai2015. Glad people were able to find them.

My team captain emailed me yesterday to tell me that I am officially known as "The Boombox Guy".

People at the event asked me why I walk with a radio and I explained how much money was donated by you guys and they were blown away. This is the first year the team I am on has ever reached/surpassed their fundraising goal and that is directly because of all of you!

Thank you so much for all the support!

Next year there will be a side fund raiser for a full body massage following the event :-/ :'-( man am I soar,

Next year ALL MINI'S!
