so i scooped this sanyo mini today i said i wasnt going to grab any minis anymore unless i thought they were really nice and well for the ten bucks i thought this was really very nice. the tuner is really good and it has quite nice sound for its size. i really like the pearl finish on it too these photos just dont do it jusitce.
i just wiped it off with a paper towel left a bit around the tape door if you look close but this is one mint box.
all is working and working perfect.

Does it have Bass/Treble or just Tone?

you can adjust the tone from hi to low .
it has balance the music search works too.
it has shortwave am fm pretty great reception too.
metal tape .
hmmm lets see stereo mono and wide selector.
it has a record mute button on top of it as well.
the band selector for the radio is on the back side of the unit.
all of it seems really nice and tight not flimsy.
i think this is from 1983 i d k for sure.
again this box looks much nicer in real life the colour of it is really cool.
rca ins and outs galore.

That's the first cassette player I ever owned, and I got mine brand new in 1984. You forgot to mention all the other options on this little gem. In/out lines, mic mixer, 2 earphone sockets, beat cancel, etc. etc. etc.
I found another, a demonstrator model at a country hardware store, about 7 years later, and picked it up, too. It has an issue with the radio, but last time I used it, it functioned well. - Oldfart
