I've got two of the standard Hitachi ones and a silver Perdisco. They sound ok, pretty loud but not bass monsters. However I've never listened to one and thought 'this is really bass shy'. It's kind of middle of the pack soundwise but oh so pretty. You can certainly live with the sound. It's ok.
