I was trawling the net (as is my want) and I found this.

The years just fell away and I was a lad of 15 again in 1979 in my local Tandy store.

Did anyone ever strike it rich with the Micronta Metal Detector? $39.95.

Nice to see that site is still around. I first learned about it about four or five years ago when somebody posted a link at S2G. I downloaded all the catalogs then - about 1.4 Gigabytes worth of stuff. I'll have to check if they've added any catalogs I don't have.

Lol no but I did find a gold ring on the beach . Being the honest person I was and still am we put a add in the paper and I got a 25 dollar reward .

Yep, just like those little Rascal's, my folks had a Razor Strap! That thing was 4 inches wide! One day it just disappeared! I know I never took it, my sister says she didn't but I think she threw it away!

We'll, it made us better people....a little ass whoopin' kept me in line!
