Finally got my JVC R-30E Remote Control Brand new in the box !
plugged it in to my RC-M60C Boombox and it works!
AND 16ft cord length wow !
Should also work with the M80 since same tape deck.
YES ! it is confirmed (yes again) !
guess i don't really need a R-15E !
i have not tested the REC function, yet i never will
since i use a 3 head Sony K615S or a JVC KD-65
to make tapes for boombox playback.
have a feeling that a R-50E would also work if it has the same pin config.
which it probably does.
The wording from the R-30E booklet leads me to think that
any JVC with matching connectors and electonic controls
would work.
probably going to put this back in the box and get a used one to plug in
its just too nice
