Question about belt length - general

Hi all,

I've just used the Russell Industries information and found the belt I need (listed as an SCY6.3). Looking at the info, and converting to mm for searching local suppliers here in NZ, there doesn't seem to be any belts of that length anywhere (it's 160mm). Does this length of belt sound correct ? It's only a single tape deck.

Cool, thanks for checking for me - those were the figures I came up with. I guess I may need to order a belt from the US then. Where do you guys order stuff from - it wasn't clear how to purchase from Russell Industries or PRB ??

Right, just ordered a belt from a local supplier I found that my local supplier lists belts by diameter whereas PRB list them by circumference (I think I got that right). Once I realised that, I divided the IC from the PRB catalog (160.02) by Pi to get the diameter (50.92 mm). My local supplier has a 1.0mm square belt in a 49mm diameter so that's what I have ordered - decided to go a size smaller, hope it fits.
