These are well known for switch problems being on top collecting dirt. You should clean with deoxit or other contact cleaner all switches and pots real good while unit is apart. You need to spray small amount into hole and work each switch and slider back and forth 20+ times. Especially the function and band switch. Good luck
yeah, what he said

Wouldn't it be easier to buy an other speaker ? (if it's not too expensive)
Because don't you think that if it was a contact problem, there wouldn't be any sound ?

If you tried through headphone jack and it's still same then it's most likely a very dirty and oxidized switch or switches. The easiest way is to get deoxit or contact cleaner and clean. The best way is to take switch apart and clean inside, but I don't recommend this.

i think that you're right ! So i just have to put the spray all around the speaker, or i have to do it more precisly ?

I haven't do anything, i've just tryed differents wires for the ipod, and it made the left speaker work. Now the radio works perfectly...........................
I still have this problem for the tapes but it doesn't mather. I'm gonna try with an ipod now, see if the left speaker works too

The GF-9191 has no line in. Do you use the phono in? That could be the reason for your awful bass.
Exactly.

As for spraying switches, it's better to take the box apart and do it. If you spray them from above, you're not going to penetrate the switch very well, if at all. Also, don't spray the sliders at all.....DeOxit isn't meant to clean carbon trace sliders.

Thanks ! No i don't use the phono in. In fact, how I disasemble the speakers ?

What else do you use? I have the same box an want to know. I used the mix mic with the most success, but that´s mono.

Did you tried your right speaker on the left channel?

I reallu think that it's a contact problem, because sometimes it works, other times it doesn't work. I think that I should disasemble the speakers and put oil contact

Oil on contact :nonono: that's not the problem. It's probably a bad function switch.

Ok and can i change the function switch..?

For exemple when i used the radio, the two speaker worked two days ago, and now only one (the right) works
