Power Switch Fix VZ-2000

Power switch had fallen out of place when I purchased the unit a VZ-2000, It was inside the box when I went to replace the turntable belt. Is it possible to install the switch without splitting the case apart to get inside? Since obviously it has already dropped out once is there a better fix for this versus putting it back as it was. Also I included pics of the switch anyone tell me does it look OK or is it too badly worn?

I need to get home and check. I think it is broken. There is no easy fix.

The Mounting tabs for the pivot Points on the power switch are broken you will have to open the box to work on it .on mine I used a piece of Rod attached to the pivot Points that spans across them to replace the tabs that were broken

It happened, the power button of my VZ-2000 is broken.
I intend to use the SADER dough to repair but I can not remember the profile of both ends and how the Metal tab is positioned.
I need your help
