I just wanted the box I had when I was a kid.
Problem.....apart from my System 1, I can't remember which Sharp GF I had!!
So now I have many!
Shane, my wife has told me that if I get anywhere near as many boxes as you.......DIVORCE!!

I started collecting with the idea of one piecers only then along came minis, 3 piecers, vintage home gear, walkmans, old mattel handheld video games, etc.

After I settled in to collecting I realized I simply like what I like and don't hold to any real parameters. Since most of what I collect comes from local thrifts, garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, etc. I can afford just about anything that catches my eye.

I'm still more of a one piece guy....the bigger the better and since my collection is still small I haven't had a chance to touch all that much yet....But I am working my way into some mini's and some three piecers, but I haven't had the chance to get my hands on any of the GOOD mini's or three piecers! :-/

Chris don't get me wrong my one piece collection dwarfs my mini and 3 piece collection combined but once you put your hands on some of those bad arse mini's and 3 piecers you'll be bringing a few home. It didn't take me long to realize I do have limits to my space (and cash) for collecting so I have become selective and it's pretty much only to good stuff for me now.

I'll be keeping my eyes (and mind) open to various radios....who knows what is out there!

That's how it starts, I'd say in 2 to 3 years you'll be stuffing boxes in closets and under beds because you have no where else to put them.
It's all cool though if it's what makes you happy.

I chose the last option as well. I only search for specific types and models.....mostly those I have a history with. Each box I select tells a story from my past...call me a hopeless nostagic collector.. :-D
