I know this happened a while ago but I just came across some videos of it and I have to say I am more than shocked
.
12 bullets? He was carrying "only" a knife?
What shocks me even more are the comments. Many people say he deserved to die and that the police did the right thing.
I have to say I disagree with that!
This seems to have been an example to scare off anyone who even thinks of running around with a knife and threatening people. I know this guy was dangerous at this point and that the police had to do something. But come on - no warning shot?
And even if they would have been forced to shoot - why on earth would it have to be a deadly shot?!
Can't they just shoot him in the leg and then arrest him with the small army of officers?
I was really shocked by this whole incident and just wanted to ask your opinions, especially the American members.
