nice job Frank.. i'm glad we agree on some of the pro's and con's of the Pioneer.. one thing that bothered me was the removable cap over the inputs.. why not have it attach like the power cap with the rubber piece? you know that little cover is begging to get lost.. that is a bad move on Pioneer's part.. $40 bucks for the remote! wow that's crazy.. my remote was hanging out one of the flaps when I received my Pioneer.. really surprised it didn't fall out! that would have sucked big time.. I agree there should be more functions for that beautiful LCD display.. spectrum EQ would have been sweet!.. I mean Pioneer got some things perfect on it.. but they could have done so much more.. and for their original asking price of $500 c'mon seriously..

great review!

and spot on with the Altec.. awesome little boomer indeed..

calling it a 'radio' is a bit of a stretch considering its' lack of an AM/FM tuner! :-D

Oh ok. My bad!
The new logo has been around for quite a long time. I shouldn't have even forgotten the old logo
Being I have a vintage pair of Pioneer speakers at home.
