Bought this from that fella in Spain a couple years ago. Costed me an arm leg and kidney, but luckily somebody else's body parts which I'm slowly paying back. I just had to have it.
But.... I have not been able to listen to it until just now. Because the speaker surrounds were all rotted from simple age. After all this time searching for a solution that I could live with, I finally got the drivers back a few days ago.

They helped me make this immaculate set all 100% again, so I finally got a chance to listen to them. All I can say is that the highs from the ribbon tweeters along with the equalizer are uncomparable. The lows, I'm not sure about yet. They are deeper and looser but not nearly as tight as the other Pioner Flagship (from different era?) SK-900. The highs are much crisper and well defined than the SK-900 (just trying to make a comparison to something). As for power, well that is a whole something else. This massive pioneer amp is a friggen powerhouse. I did not dare crank it beyond 3/10. First for fear of damaging my surgically repaired ears and second, because I did not want to damage these freshly refoamed speakers, both (ears and speakers) of which are priceless, lol. Perhaps after they are broken in, I might try to ease a bit more power to them. Anyway, here it is. Complete with everything including all accessories, etc. which is soo very nice to have.

Soo Sad, BAD Speakers. Can't listen to this for 2 years...

Speakers drivers removed for restoration. Whoa, those are some serious caps. No cheapie bipolar electrolytic caps here. They are reminiscent of JVC M90 type caps.

Surrounds by PRIME, to save the day.

All the accessories, Oh, the advantages of BNIB,

Completed! This thing jams!

Enjoy!
