Hi, LJV. The slider controls have, sadly yellowed with age - but it's not the end of the world!

Than take them of and dipp them in Domestos solution (dilute Domestos with water)in a jar and leave them a day or two. Domestos clears everything. I‘ve used it o yellowed plastic, metal even ceramics.
Rinse and scrubb. Keep children and pets from the Domestos and wear protective glowes.
It does wonders. You can test it first on some junk piece of aged/yellowed plastic.

Thanks for this this, LJV - that's a great tip. I've some other yellowed plastic that from an old parts BB so I'll experiment on this first.

Don't mention it.
While you‘re at it, make pics before and after treatment. Approximately one teaspoon of Domestos per one cup of water. You can add more to speed it up, but it‘s not worth the polution Domestos does. If you‘re not satisfied, make new solution and dipp parts for another day. Overnight usually does the trick.
Do it in vented room and make sure no one else has the access. Warning family members and warning sticker is always a good thing to do. It does nothing to the skin, but can harm the eyes, evaporation isn't healthy either, not to mention if a child or pet would drink it.
