Just picked up my Philips D8734, got a deal on eBay seller kept in mint condition £33, well happy as this was one of my favourite. Boxes back in the day,,, I only wonder what happened to my old one, to much rukking the gunge,,, but well pleased with this, great bass clear sound and everythings in working order, I was destined to have this bit of my teenage days back, well happy...

Nice, and typically bonkers Philips design as I remember from the one I mended for someone a few years ago. I should have one of these but don't and currently I wouldn't dare bring something that size into any place where the other half and/or the sister-in-law beast might find it and let us face it; finding that wouldn't be as hard as hiding it..

Good heavens above no! She causes mayhem whenever she uses a web forum!
I love the mad old trout dearly but wouldn't encourage her to come here, I've seen her posts at her favourite shoe collectors' forum (seriously, I'm not even kidding..) among other places in cyberspace and to describe her style as caustic would be generous.

I just checked the Radiomuseum site, and it says it's 30.3" long. ...longer than a GF-777, that's a BIG box!

I've had one of these before. Feature packed unit!! You'll be happy with all the knobs and buttons this has. Gets really loud. Big and heavy. Congrats.
