Was thinking for a wile should i take it (the seller was holding the price 50 euro +shipping) but those long LEDs :drool: made me to buy it. Even they are not bouncing on the radio still can get them when pressing REC+pause :thumbsup: . The sound is actually really good and the spatial is helping a lot. Its not exactly my cup of coffee but now love it. The blue woofers are gorgeous. Its a 100% workin and thats a good news for me. So here are some bad pictures of just arrived Phil 8634 before cleaning.

I love the looks of this model!!
They really rocked the industrial look with the tweeters and speaker grill.
The color of those double LEDs really pops.

Thanks all. Actually love it now.Was playing a lot with 3 Motor drive servo controlled tape section. Reminds me some of my old decks :thumbsup: . Enjoying the clicking sounds of the mechanic and response from the knobs. It is a good box . Can be made with a little bit more quality, but they saved some for the sake of the price i think :hmmm: . Like it anyway :yes: . And the sound is really good, making a big kick when switched on "loudness" and "spatial" on max :breakdance: . And most important to me - those double, long, 10 each, 2 colored extreme cool LEDs :thumbsup: .

they have a good sound and i like themas well - yours looks a good one there :cool:

i have a mkII as well - although mine came with aa little finishing touch - from a girl :hmmm:

took hours to get the pink off and have sprayed the grills black again - still yet to finish :breakdance:

Looks kind of cool with all this pink stuff. It is for sure chick magnet, so use the advantage :thumbsup: .

the wife is not overjoyed with the boxes i have at the mo :lol: the pink on it is not going to make her love them more trust me :lol:

I have two in the lounge that sit near the TV - a 9494 and a 777 and have also just finshed cleaning a M70 that is trying to sneak in - also have a half finished 1982 chrome Mongoose bmx and a 1970 nona costa mesa cal skateboard siting near the door - if i start bring more into the lounge then i feel she might harm me :lol:

she doesn't see it my way and pink is more like red to here :w00t:

Today I got one. Price was a bit steep, 125€ but the thing works really well (100%). Though I was expecting a slight more from the bass notes. Sounds like the excursion of the speakers reaches its maximum pretty fast when cranking the bass knob and turning it up. :hmmm:

This thing was really done for recording purposes. Inputs and holders for external stereo microphones, manual record level for both channels and the wonderful level meter. Only thing I miss is an option for the level meter to work as VU-meter for Line In & Radio. So now if you want bouncing led bars, you have to put it on record. Mind you that this machine puts the cassette on pause when hitting record. You have to press play to record.

This one needs just a bit of cleaning. There was something rattling inside when I shaked it :no:

Ah, Bendy....that must have been a nightmare....still a worthy box to restore :yes:
