Hey guys,
I made a purchase on Ebay(non boombox) a few weeks back. I noticed after the sale that the seller had a very vague shipping time listed, "buyer will usually ship within 15 days" so I waited patiently. After 18 days I hadn't seen any shipping info so I contacted the seller and asked when it would be shipped. She stated that Ebay had made a mistake in the listing and it should have read: "usually ships within 21 days" She then added that she gets the item from a distributor and she doesn't know if he has the item anymore and she'll check with him the following day. I opened a claim with Ebay because it all seemed a bit underhanded.
The next day Ebay sends me an email saying that the buyer refunded the money. Shortly after I received an email from the seller asking for positive feedback. The truth was she never contacted me and didn't even have the item she sold me. She had my money tied up for almost 3 weeks. So I left negative feedback that properly corresponded to the way the transaction was handled. The seller sent me an email asking me to revise the feedback to positive. I didn't. She then sent me the following email " Shame on you. My momma always told me what comes around goes around." Then today I get an email saying she will pay me $15. if I change my feedback to positive???? Has anybody ever dealt with anything like this? I'm not changing my feedback, it was fair and honest. Also, I believe that feedback shouldn't be bought it should be earned! I've purchased over 200 items on Ebay and never left negative feedback but I feel like I would betray the trust of others if I wasn't honest.
