I've got a great Sharp GF-777z that's in pretty good shape, with one significant exception: the box has been bashed in a little on its right side. There are holes and pieces of missing plastic from the cabinet. I have some of the pieces, but it's been cracked and pieces are missing.

Is this cabinet at all repairable? If I found a shell for another GF-777z, could the parts from the current unit be Frankensteined in? Is any of this possible.

Appreciate every and any thoughts,

djb

Oh, man. That sucks! :'-( There are some members here who would take up the challenge of repairing the busted side. There are definitely several options in doing so. However, if you could find a new case, everything could indeed be switched over with a little (maybe a lot) of patience.

I hate to see stuff destroyed like that.
I think Northerner is right, it is fixable, probably wise to take your time with this restoration.

All the best with that project.

If no-one wants the 2nd front end for that sharp send me a PM about it. I could use a spare, in good condition.

Thanx,
OC
