where do I begin? Something that would fit, but what else am I looking for? Number of pins, what they are etc
I think it transforms to 9v.
Help appreciated.

You could use a universal trany if you bypass the voltage selector and dc interlock.

This is a 9-10V with build-in fuse type transformer

Make sure your replacement transformer output is about 9-10V 1.5-2A,

How much room do you have. I stumbled across this cheap radio with a low profile single tap transformer. 35mm

Looks like roughly 40mm deep and 70mm wide.
Trying the one linked above on ebay but if no joy with that i'll be interested in this for sure.

Hard to find low profile. Also the right output current I would say the one I pictured is only 1a 9v. Yours may need 1.5 or 2a? Who plays it at full volume anyway haha.

Thanks for the help.
I bought the transformer linked in post #5 and it works great so far.
Only thing I noticed is that it is a 1A but all the other things matched, 240v AC to two 9v DC outputs.
Perfect!!
