is $85 a good price to pay for a panasonic RX-DS-660
the cd players works but the latch that holds it closed is broken
would that be a easy fix?

I had one of these in mint condition.. ended up just giving it away.. nice box..

Price is relative to what the seller wants to sell it for...and ultimately the value to the buyer. For some it may be good, for some it may be too high. Discussion of price or values can lead to frustration and disappointment. What I would do is look at the era it is from, condition, and what prices are for similar boxes in similar condition on the web. From there you will find your answer.

IMHO, I think $85 is a little steep for a 660 with a broken CD cover. I've seen a few of the better model 680s go for less. I got a 680 from Ebay for $50 and I was the only bidder!

Too much for 660, there is a 650 being sold locally for $45 and no bites for 2 months! I got lucky and found my 660 for $30!
