Hope you are all well who take the time to read my message.
Ive a RX-C300 since its birth. It’s in need of some belts and just a general cleaning inside. Physically its near mint and it works just fine (the belts just went only a couple months ago and they were the original ones) but there is dust in the balance slider and inside.
I know there are some contact cleaners but would any of you cats recommend one for this type of maintenance?
As for the dust internally, do you recommend a typical can of compressed air? Is there one better than the other? I know its air but worth it to ask.
Any “gotchas†when opening up the unit? The screws seem pretty simple but is there some weird “push in and slide up†type tips I may need to know? Are the belts difficult to get to ?
Rather than send it to a local shop, i think I can just replace the belts and clean up the unit myself since it works fine otherwise.
