Paid too much for a JVC RC-M71 (before you could!)

Well, I did it again. I was looking for a box to restore. Looks like I found it. Doesn't look too bad though. It could be much worse. It's another ebay find. These are the pictures from the listing. I'll try to post better pics once it arrives.

The JVC M75 has the mic imput, mic mixing, radio mixing, and tape speed controls under the tape door. Hoping to score one of those as well someday.

We'll see if I stole it or not once I open it up. I can tell from the pics I'm already going to need a few parts. I figure worse case scenario, I can easily sell it for what I paid. Probably even make a buck or two!

Once the M71 arrives, I may have to bring it to Wisconsin and get it fitted with a new strap. And another for my M70.

As far as I can remember in the dreams the first one I had found a junky M70 in an alley ,in the second dream I was trying to buy that same junky m 70 from the first Dream .I think that's when I woke up when I saw the price. I can't win even in a dream.

Arrived today. Some things better than expected, some worse.

Powers up and shows signs of life. FM radio sounds great. Cassette still untested. Both channels WORK! Hoping to open it up this weekend. I'll post pics soon.
