love it, these smaller mid sized boxes are great for using regularly . i use my smaller boxes way more than the huge ones, a lot less trouble too 
these sharps are sweet , i think if i was to buy one i would go after the 9494 , although the 9696 is great , the 9494 is cheaper and looks just as nice to me . but i would take any of them if the price was right.

I got some face time with this radio tonight. At a medium volume it's balanced and it you want extra clean high's bring up the treble. It is so clean and bright I really had to pull them back to 50%. The bass is full and round, not punchy, but I haven't pushed heavy bass music through it yet. It's got some nice features. Song Skip, Metal tape playback, loudness, dial and meter lighting, dual antenna, SW. It has sliders but only one for the volume, not two like the M70.
It's heavy. I haven't walked around with it loaded with 8 D's but I have a feeling it may need a Blu_Fuz custom strap down the line!
