In the last few days of 2011, how do you plan to [strike]ring[/strike] boom in the new year? Big party, quiet night with the family, exotic trip..... Do you have any quirky traditions? Plan on declaring a resolution? Or just stock-piling for Armageddon (you know, Mayan calendar ending and all). Bascially, in the famous words of Sonny Til & The Orioles ....."What are you doing New Year's Eve"?

There is a 70's/80's new years party we might go to, but it's hard to plan to leave for the party with our baby :-/ :hmmm: . We might just stay home :dunce:

:'-( Poor Ira. Do you need a hug? A place to stay? We can adopt you. Of course you'll have to pay rent, do yard work, and occasionally fix my dinner, but still. OH! And we shall call you "Old Dog"

I've started my sangria. Yesterday, I put in mason jars: apples & brandy, peaches & peach schnapps, and vodka & pears. Tonight I added each of the mason jars to a bottle of Pinot Gris and peach punch. All stewing until tomorrow night.
