Out with the Band

Floyd imagine what kind of trouble you could have gotten in to if you had a Lasonic 975, an M90 or something along those lines.

Actually I bet the smaller boxes have more appeal to them, because they're "cute" and they could see themselves carrying them

hell i coulda scored like beavis and butthead with that one and believe it or not that panny was one of my first units aside from a transistor radio .

It actually sounds pretty good, for what it is

So this past weekend, my band and another band hit the road for some shows. I ended up doing a little experiment...

Since space was tight, I ended up bringing the GE I got from Reli last weekend. I wrapped it in a towel, put it in my suitcase and packed clothes in around it.

After the first nights show, both bands went back to the hotel to celebrate a great show (as we do )

So, 8 guys and 3 fans were in the hotel room, everyone talking about the show. After about 20 minutes, one of the guys from the other band starts playing music from his phone (gawd I hate the way those sound ). It only took a moment for my bass player to say "Gee Chris, I'm shocked you didn't bring a radio" which was followed by my drummer saying "Yeah, this dude always has a radio with him". Then someone says, "Sure would be nice to have some tunes".

I actually wanted to just SEE what would happen as opposed to pulling out my radio and just doing what I do.

I then just smiled and said, "Who says I didn't "

I pulled out the little GE and it performed PERFECTLY, Plugged my phone into it and streamed the TUNE IN radio app on the channel "THRASH ZONE" from Germany (it's my fav)

As you all know, the party started that very second!

I love this little radio, These have full sound, they're just not big Volume Monsters, but in a Hotel room at 1am, I didn't need BIG volume, just quality sound.....and I will say it again....PERFECT

agree with wise chris --we dont always need LOUD --
often just real nice and sweet and accurate is all thats needed

I like that ITT, Classic silver...

I'll tell ya this....the GE fit in my bag AND it has a GREAT Loudness switch that really brings up the depth at low volume....Believe me, if the party would have really kicked off, I would have had enough power to get us thrown the F out

Reli, your right, girls don't always need the Big Blasters, if they have some tunes, they are happy. But as men, we always think we need a Corvette to get the deal inked
