I have always been a gadget person but only started collecting in 2003.
It was the nostolgia feel of the 80's and quality that attracted me.
During the original Boombox time of the 80's I was a young married man, 2 small kids, and it was all about career, cars, bigger house, keeping up with the joneses, etc.
Boomboxes were not on my radar, for me back then it was the in home stuff.
VCR's and CD players were hot as the iphone is today, my era's version of high tech must have gear, you know that's what EVERYBODY was into.
........and FWIW, TPR950 falls right into my age catagory.
Jens if you see this hope its OK for me to out your age, as I know we've done this before at S2G.
