As far as I know, there have been three of them in collections around the world...now it's 4. I would love to know the history behind those...but the only answer I ever got from JVC was "We do not know of a silver version of the RC-550". I guess some intern wrote it.
I am still in awe by those two together. That's probably the first occasion in 30 years that two of these are together again

I hear your dibs btw but for now I am going to enjoy both for a few weeks. It has been a thirller that lastet two months to get this second one and I somehow still can't believe it actually worked.
