Thanks everyone.....still a few things left to do, need to drop car off at the shipping company Wednesday. Repack our bags that we are traveling with and then jump on a plane!
Getting closer
So crazy, I've never really heard as many details of moving internationally before, knew a couple people that did, but never realized how much goes into it.
I'm glad they pushed your wife's job situation through and allowed you to complete the move. At the same selfish time, I was hoping to meet ya in person some time, but I guess ithe might have to wait a few more years. I hope everything goes beyond great over there.
Since I'm only halfway through the move, I haven't gotten to the "Horrors" of the "International" side yet

. This could have been much smoother.
There is so much I haven't even posted about. Everyday since the travel ban there has been a spoon full of **** thrown in our faces. Every day it's "Your not going", "Don't ship your household goods", "reschedule everything". Their only answers have been "Well, you can roll the dice, but if anything happens, your responsible to pay to have your stuff shipped back!". I'm not shitting you! We heard that one last Tuesday as the shipping company is in the driveway!
There is a piece of me that's beyond giving a **** at this point. As crappy as the world is quickly becoming I know there is a chance my wife and I will be flying out of Italy 2.5 years from now on the last chopper out of Saigon! Leaving, yet again, all of my efforts, hopes and dreams (and belongings) to waste at the hands of someone else's greedy decisions!
BUT WE'RE HOPING FOR THE BEST!

:'-(
