No offense though! I don't like those cheap models.

It looks like an inflated boombox with cheap parts. Look for the valve caps.

It seeems so hollow at a pound and a half.
you know a week ago i woulda said the same thing about these chinese made crapboxes.. but i modified mine and disabled the analog EQ.. took it to work last night and was blown away at how loud and clear it played.. you could hear it clear across the 127,000 foot warehouse.. i was shocked to say the least.. if you play with the settings this thing can actually sound pretty sweet.. i set the treble all the way up and leave the bass at 3-4 and enable the loudness EQ setting.. and turn it up to 36.. and i must say everyone was impressed.. last week i was going to toss it in the trash.. i got it.. it sounded like sh*t.. USB had noise in it.. and SD card didnt function.. i was beyond pissed.. so i boxed it and put it in my closet for like 2 months.. took it out last week to screw around with it to see if i can do anything to make it sound/work better.. disabling the EQ had a profound effect on the sound.. much much better.. no more distortion.. resoldered all the wire connectors and SD card connectors and wahlah.. alls well.. and sounding sweet.. i'm actually kinda hooked on it now.. hearing it at full blast last night.. (cant do that in my apartment) made me respect it alot more.. call me crazy.. but it's really not that bad now.. and the people at my job think itscool as hell.. some 20 somehing girl came up and said.. wow thats a cool boombox.. lol didnt expect that.. was kinda cool..
