Hi Gang.... What a great day of fun!!! Boomers, tapes and great friends... I really enjoyed hangnin' out with you guys, again!!!

Today was busy, busy, busy! I spent it runing errands and then there was a previsouly planned backyard neighborhood grilling session (M90 provided the turns). Otherwise, the rest of the day was spent trying to keep up with David. No time to really sit down and sort out the pics unitil just now. Here's the group pic..

Love the up front boxes too! That Sansui is in some good company with Bobbys big C100/Helix, Franks 5350, and a stellar looking M90 - I guess thats Fords?

just went thru jaetees cool show album --
grreat angle shots

and OMG !!! what a happy ending ................freddie with his CP 7 collection +++++

the two hooters chicks he was carrying all around --
did not make him 1/2 as thrilled as those 2 boxes

then -- i studied franks huge album
to get reminded of how many awesome boxes we had there -

and the efforts involved -
like lopez lugs both his 600 pound panny monsters all the way from new york-
his A2 and his A5 --
and gave us a big league demo//comparo
------------------------------------------------------------------
then --look at the first box in franks row #3 --
its the tripple gorgeous grundig silver RR 1140 --
wanna talk looks ???
there are absolutely NO boxes nicer than that one (imvo)
it was brought from germany by ralf (JVC838)

and ralf also brought us the worlds nicest looking mini --his sanyo 7950
--the pictures dont even show how good it looks.

and then --ralfs mega shocker was his ultra high performance custom 880
with his stunning meter and dial lamps and super tweets -
wanna talk SOUND !!!

and bobby cleans house with his powerhouse sansui mini #500 --
which nobody ever saw or even heard of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then --50 other boxes were spectacular --
easy to recall is that jaetees m90 sounded perfect like a BRAND NEW box

so --all johns and franks super shots dont even tell 20% of the story.................

it was like ... YA HAD TO BE THERE

oops --while posting above about some grand efforts --
i did a WTF and forgot this set of deeds ::::

member lyle (wonderlust)
flies from new york to miami --
then rents a truckload of special lighting and photo gear -
then collects 2 more photographers
and they drive 300 miles north to the meet --

and worked non-stop ALL day long to shoot our boxes

amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!

all in all --
it was like a months worth a great happenings---
that happened in just ONE DAY !!!!!!!!!

I'm a little sad to not see the WX1 anywhere!! I mentioned in one of my posts I would of loved Frank to take it there (kinda like me being there in spirit!).

Guess I'll have to plan a vacation around it next year (maybe take the family to Destin) and bring it (WX1) myself with some of my sad colection .

I love all these cool pics of these awesome boxes! I can see what I like

guys thanks for all the great pictures, specially frank's , the sony d7 and the 5500 look amazing minty fresh, i know that all of us that didnt go, wish to be there some day and be part of the great reunion, i was making plans to be there this year but i was layoff 2 weeks ago, and my plan crambled.
good to see all of you again, happy and in good health.
