NYC Meetup? May/June perhaps? Awesome location!

I'd love to meetup in NYC someday with a bunch of local boombox fans!

If you're local to NYC, you've probably heard of 5 Points.

It has to be the ultimate spot for boombox photos!

I'm all in. I live in queens so I'll go where ever to do this. Heck I'll go to NJ too. Jimmy will hop in my truck and and go trust me.

I'm thinking Saturday June 8th. I can organize a photo shoot and have some models show up too. They would pose with all our bboxes (whatever we bring) and I can upload all the pics for everyone to use online anywhere. I just ask that everyone be respectful of the models - some of them may be bringing boyfriends/husbands, etc.

So, mark your calendars for June 15th!

I had to change the date to the 8th instead of the 15th. My wife politely reminded me of our anniversary on the 17th that we might be celebrating that weekend, lol!

There's no cost to anyone but the models. I'm still waiting to hear back from the people who run "5 Pointz" to be sure we have permission to do this. If anything I will donate a percentage of whatever the models pay me for this.

I'm pretty sure that's a different place. The spot from that movie is in lower Manhattan and the "5 Pointz" that I'm taking about is in Long Island City which is in Queens.
